Below you will find a listing of my workshops and classes. Click on the subheading of each of the titles for a detailed description. If you would like information about new classes and workshops, please sign up on the mailing list.
I like to take my workshops on the road so please contact me for more information if you would like to schedule a workshop or class for your knitting group.
My workshops and classes have always been well received. I ask participants to evaluate my classes and I respond to student feedback by adjusting my presentations, handouts, and class organization, when indicated. All my workshops and classes are grounded in my love of color, technique, and attention to detail. Be assured that the word “finicky” in the title of my finishing workshop was not chosen at random!
Over the years, I have built a reputation as an instructor attentive to student learning and sensitive to student needs. My handouts are comprehensive and well-researched and to further my own education as a knitter and educator, I continue to take classes and attend conferences, both here in America and overseas.
Quite often, I am struck by the fact that the best teachers are not always the well-known designers and authors who inspire us all, but rather those with an interest in and aptitude for knitting AND pedagogy. I strive to be one of those teachers.
